The occupation of Tidemill Garden in Deptford

September 1st: Echoing the combined efforts of squatters and residents to fight local councils and developers of the 2014/2015 period, Tidemill Garden in Deptford has been occupied since Wednesday the 29th of August, in resistance to Lewisham Council’s plans to redevelop the area, displacing residents and destroying the garden.

Jury finds three guilty over lorry surfing protest near Preston New Road fracking site

August 23rd: After a seven-day trial, three anti-fracking campaigners who took part in a lorry surfing protest near Cuadrilla’s fracking site in Preston New Road have been found guilty of public nuisance.
